Do you want to transform your bridal bouquet into a unique work of art, but don't have the means to dry it yourself? Then this article is perfect for you. With our professional drying service, your entire bridal bouquet will be carefully and gently preserved—the perfect foundation for all the other works of art that will later be created from it.

This step is not a must, but it is a perfect addition if you want a particularly beautiful result and don't want to dry your flowers yourself.

Pressing a bridal bouquet – The first step to your personal work of art

Pressing bridal bouquets is the basis for many of my works of art. I take each individual blossom from your bouquet in my hand and gently press them in a special flower press. After about 2–3 weeks, they are perfectly dry—ready for further creative processing. Whether you want to have them made into a cake stand, a tray, or a coffee table later, you can decide at your leisure after the pressing.

This service is ideal for brides who prefer to outsource the drying process – especially with white or delicate flowers, speed and precision are crucial. The faster the bouquet arrives, the more vibrant the colors and shapes will be. Therefore, please contact me directly after the wedding or in advance to reserve your spot. I only accept a limited number of orders so I can devote enough time to every detail.

I'll be personally at your side throughout the entire process—via WhatsApp or email. Upon request, I'll send you packaging instructions, answer any questions you may have about the process or design, and keep you updated. Pressing the bridal bouquet is a very emotional step for many of my clients—and I'll guide you through it with a great deal of empathy.

From the inquiry to the finished artwork

Step 1: Secure an appointment

You're getting married – I'll prepare everything.

Please contact me early via email or the contact form to secure your appointment. Sometimes, spontaneous requests are also possible.

By booking the "Preserving a Bridal Bouquet" service, I'll reserve your appointment. You'll also receive information about shipping your bridal bouquet.

Step 2: Express shipping

Your bouquet is on its way.

After the wedding, simply send your bridal bouquet to me via express delivery. The fresher the flowers arrive, the more beautiful the result will be.

Within 2 weeks, it will be preserved and you can decide which artworks you would like to order.

Step 3: Completion

Flowers become a work of art.

Now the magic begins: Each flower is carefully dried, shaped, and arranged by hand. Depending on your wishes, the result is a work of art made of epoxy resin, a framed floral picture, or a keepsake that will stay with you for a lifetime.

After approximately 4-6 weeks you will receive your personal work of art.

That's why, at Biddy Art Design, I offer you the option of drying your bridal bouquet – professionally, lovingly, and with experience. Many of my clients initially don't even know what they want their bridal bouquet to look like. That's perfectly okay! It's important that you send your bouquet to me as soon as possible after the wedding. The fresher the flowers, the more beautiful the result. I gently dry the blossoms in my press for about 2–3 weeks. This preserves their shape and color perfectly – ideal for trays, tiered stands, coasters, or even coffee tables.

You don't have to decide on a product right away. The initial focus is entirely on drying the bridal bouquet – then we'll discuss together which work of art you have in mind. I'm always available for you during this time – whether via WhatsApp or email. I'd be happy to send you shipping instructions and also offer personalized advice on storing or finishing your flowers.

  • After scheduling an appointment, you send me your fresh bridal bouquet, carefully packaged. I carefully separate each flower and professionally press it in a special flower press. This preserves its shape and color as beautifully as possible. After approximately 2–3 weeks, your bouquet will be completely dry and ready for further processing.

  • During drying, the bouquet is usually air-dried while hanging, which can lead to discoloration and brittle blossoms. I don't use this method, of course. I press all my flowers or preserve them in salt (for a 3D effect). Pressing allows the blossoms to dry flat, gently, and in a controlled manner. The result is more durable and perfect for flat works of art such as tiered stands, trays, or coasters—ideal for stylish keepsakes.

  • No, you can have the bridal bouquet pressed first and then decide on a work of art later. Many brides only decide after the drying process, when they see how the flowers have turned out. I'd be happy to advise you afterwards on which product is best suited for your flowers. It's also possible to put together a set afterward.

  • It's best to send me your bridal bouquet the day after the wedding, or at the latest the day after the next business day. The fresher the flowers arrive, the more beautiful the result will be. Important: Please contact me before shipping to secure a delivery date – I can only accept a limited number per week.

  • If you'd like, I'll return the unused pressed flowers to you, securely packaged. Alternatively, you can let me store them for future artwork. Some clients also choose to have only a portion of the bouquet processed and keep the rest for another keepsake. I'd be happy to discuss the options with you.
